After earning a BA and doing postgraduate work in English, I worked as a newspaper reporter and editor for ten years.
Attracted to the idea of taking my own photos to go with my written stories, I learned photography through editorial work, and then segued into full-time photography.
It’s been a rich career, and I’ve shot everything from street riots to politicians, public relations to industrial settings.
My favorite jobs involve creating photo illustrations for publishers to use as book and magazine covers.
All the while, I’m working on portfolios of fine art photos, some of which are presented here.
